I was watching The Wizard of Oz the other day and the part where Dorothy (played by 16-year-old Judy Garland) sings her famous signature song reminded me of Rolf during ''Wish You Were Ed''….when he was homesick for his Old Country and tired and frustrated with Peach Creek's ''menial cul-de-sac customs''. Dorothy is also fed up with the grey landscape of Kansas and wishes to be somewhere in a far away land, not unlike Rolf wishing to be back home in Europe. So that's why I chose the song for him.

So this was actually the first song I learned to sing in English. Of course I didn't sing it as awesome as Ms Garland….she's my favourite old time actress and singer, NO ONE sings like Judy Garland, she was just a Goddess of Music.))
