((Artist: I recovered from my laryngitis, and while my family is here, I wanted to take the opportunity to perform in front of them. So I borrowed my friend's studio sound system (he records his own music) and he helped me mix my voice over the backtrack and all. This is technically my third song recording, but the second one is not yet ready (it's the one with Rolf and Nazz singing the PINK song ''Try'' as a duet) so I decided to share this one first instead. My family was literally in stitches by the time I was done singing, and my girlfriend kept making fishy faces at me so it took a few tries to get this recording right without bursting out in laughter. I tried to make this as comical as possible, and if you try to imagine Rolf singing it, it's pretty darn funny. I tried not to sing this good and jut tried to make it really ridiculous. I was cracking up when I listened back to the finished version, trying to envision Rolf singing this and that just paints a very comical picture in my head for some reason.

This was a dare from someone who challenged Rolf to sing the most Western song ever! I must say it wasn't easy finding pics of Rolf that fit with the song and instead of having random pics I tried to tell a little story.

In real life, my good friend dared me to sing this song as Rolf, but in the video story, Eddy actually challenges Rolf to sing a Western song, thinking Rolf is too yellow-bellied to take the challenge, but Rolf is far too full of pride to back down and admit he's a coward to conform to the ''modern go-go world'' so he actually performs this in front of everyone, hence their reactions.

I would have drawn the pics myself but was too lazy, and so I borrowed art from my friend  since she draws Rolf waaaaaaaay better than me, and just draws better in general.

The ''halo'' in the lyrics is also not directed towards anyone specific, since Rolf does not have a crush on anyone yet, unless you count Ezeke (OC) which isn't canon despite how much I adore the pairing and somewhat consider it my OTP for Rolf in fanon… but I wanted to keep this true to the show, so Rolf is just singing a random song that Eddy made him sing, it means nothing to him.

I was not familiar with the song myself and had to take the time to learn it over a five day period. I still have not mastered a lot of the notes, like my ''oooooooo'' at the end of ''Halo'' is horrible, and my ''Halo'' sounds more like ''Hullo'' but it's actually better that way, because it makes it funny. So yes, it's not perfect, but I can't help but find it perfect for Rolf's character to make a fool out of himself with this song. Also a lot of the vocalizing I was trying to make it sound like his howling noises that he sometimes does in the show, which is another reason why this song cracks me up.

Hope you all get some laughs out of Rolf singing a Beyoncé song… I only just learned who she was a couple weeks ago myself. XD))
